QubitSolve is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated intern to join our team as a Software Engineering intern working at the forefront of quantum computing for computational fluid dynamics (CFD)—a field with the potential to transform industries such as aerospace, defense, and automotive.

Position Details
Duration: Summer 2026 (3 months)
Schedule: Part-time
Location: On-site at QubitSolve
781 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Morgantown, WV
Compensation: $31.62/hour
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with our team on building QubitSolve’s minimum viable product (MVP)
Develop and test modules in the MVP
Run simulations using simulators or quantum platforms
Analyze simulation results to evaluate accuracy, performance, and scalability
Contribute to advancing quantum-enabled CFD capabilities
What We’re Looking For
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
Strong foundation in numerical linear algebra and complex numbers
Proficiency in Python programming
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Nice to Have (Not Required):
Familiarity with quantum computing concepts
Experience with Qiskit, GitHub, ChatGPT, or Claude
Eligibility:
Must be authorized to work in the United States (e.g., U.S. citizen or permanent resident)
